For the 10th year in a row we organized an outdoor trip in November. This year 16 die-hard adventurers explored the Spreewald, a natural reserve 2 hours car drive from Berlin, Germany. We
rented kayaks and canoe and paddle 40 km throughout two days. The current of the spree at around 3 km/h guided us through several obstacles like water locks and rapids. Many could be
mastered by courage and balance. Others demanded to carry the boats which was a great challenge for the team spirit.
We camped wild and set the tents just next to the river Spree. Some took a cold bath to feel fresh for long chats next to the bonfire and delicious food with stick bread as a desert. We recharged
our energies with the sound of the stream and the smell of pure, fresh air.
After another 20 km, partly in the sun, we reached our destination.
